Last spring, Matt and I took our first international trip together to Paris, France. Check out my blog post called 5 Days in Paris for more details on the trip! As I was looking back through our photos from the trip this morning, I decided to put together this guide for anyone else that might be traveling to the City of Love soon to point out some amazing #Instaworthy places.
1. Trocadéro
Trocadéro is one of the best places in the city for photos with the Eiffel Tower. This is where some of my favorite photos from our trip were taken. As you walk closer to the Eiffel Tower, you’ll also see a little park that provides another great photoshoot location!
2. Cafes
Paris has so many amazing cafes! Snapping a few photos in one is a great way to remember how adorable the city is.
3. Rue Crémieux
Rue Crémieux is known as a hotspot for photographs because of all the colorful buildings aligning this one block street. While Matt and I were there, we even saw an aspiring musician filming a music video here!
4. Your Hotel Balcony
If your hotel room has a little balcony like ours did, take advantage of it!
5. Montmartre
Montmartre is an artsy area of Paris that’s a little ways away from city-center. However, this area is definitely worth a visit! We loved walking around and seeing artists painting masterpieces in the middle of the street. Montmartre also features the “I Love You” wall. This wall features the words “I Love You” in 311 different languages.
6. The Louvre
We actually didn’t spend much time at The Louvre, but we were able to snap a couple pics while there!
7. City Streets
The streets of Paris make a perfect backdrop for any photo!
8. The Arc de Triomphe
In addition to taking a souvenir photo in front of The Arc de Triomphe, make sure you visit the top so you can look out over the city and see an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower.
One last tip: If you really want to make the most of your trip and bring home amazing photos to remember your time in Paris, consider hiring a photographer for a mini photoshoot! We hired Julie from The Paris Portraits because she specializes in working with tourists. She took all of our photos around Trocadéro and they were definitely our favorite souvenirs from the trip!
