Matt and I finally got around to decorating our Christmas Tree and putting our decor up this weekend and it makes me so happy! I wanted to put together a little guide of everything we bought so y’all can recreate the look if you want to!
The Tree
Our tree is a 9ft Pre-Lit Stratford Pine Tree from At Home. This is our first year using it and I am totally in love. It was so easy to put together and I really like that there are different types of branches throughout the tree. It gives it less of an artificial look.
Ornaments
I really love uniform sets of ornaments that all compliment each other. This year, we bought three ornament sets from Target. We bought two packs of the 40ct Wondershop Ornament Set from Target (one in red and one in silver). They were each $20 for 40 ornaments. We also bought a 12-pack of oversized ornaments in red, white, and silver. The oversized ornaments were $15 for 12.
The Dollar Tree had these really pretty Merry Christmas signs. I thought it would fit in nicely on my tree and tie the whole look together. I like the idea of adding word cut outs like this one to a tree to give the tree a focal point.
Ribbon
Because we had a lot of sparkly pieces on the tree, I wanted something that would help tone down our decor. This plaid ribbon did the trick and it was only $5 a roll at Hobby Lobby.
Fillers
I love adding fillers to a tree to make it complete. This year we picked out several sparkly silver sprays and some pinecones to stick in the tree. They can get a little pricey when you’re buying a lot of them, but they really help bring your tree to the next level. The pinecone picks had three little pinecones each and were $.50. The silver sprays ranged from $1-$3 each.
On Top
Sometimes tree toppers can be pricey. We really didn’t have a preference for what we wanted at the top of the tree, so when we found this gorgeous 3D snowflake tree topper from Hobby Lobby for less that $8, we jumped on it!
Tree Collar
Instead of buying a tree skirt this year, we opted for a tree collar. We had a lot of sparkly & glitzy ornaments, so I wanted something a little less glam under the tree to help tone it down. Target had this tree collar for $40 in this color and in white. One tip, the tree collar doesn’t come a part. So, we had to pick up our whole tree (very carefully) and slide this underneath.
Fireplace Garland
We actually got our garland from Sam’s Club a few years ago, so unfortunately I don’t have a link to our exact one. But, I did find some similar options from Target that I wanted to include here.
First, we have this 6ft Flocked Garland from Target. It does not come pre-lit, but I wanted to include it because I think the flocked tips and pinecone make it look natural and so pretty! Plus, it’s only $30.
So out of the three on this list, I think this 6ft Pre-Lit Berry and Pinecone Garland looks the most similar to ours. I love how full it is and the lights are battery-operated so that’s really convenient. This option is sold at Target and it’s $40.
The last garland I wanted to suggest was this 9ft Pre-Lit Garland that’s also sold at Target. One benefit of having a garland that doesn’t come with any decorations is that you’d be able to rotate them out every year to match the color scheme of the rest of your holiday decor. This garland is not battery-operated, so you’ll need to place somewhere close to an outlet. This 9ft garland is normally $75, but is on sale (at the time this article was published) for $60.
Stockings
Our stockings are the Wondershop Knit Monogram Stockings in red from Target. The main reason I love these so much is that they had a pawprint option for Oliver.
Dining Room Table Centerpiece
We don’t have a ton of other Christmas Decor up throughout the house right now, but we do have these cute little flocked trees as a centerpiece on our Dining Room Table. The 18″ one is $5 and we bought two of the 13″ ones and they were $3 each.
If we purchase additional Christmas decor, I’ll update this post with additional links.
